Flexible Family Support Services for When Families Need a Short-Term Caregiver
Flexible Family Support Services (FFSS) aid families of children with medically complex needs at times when their primary caregivers are unavailable. FFSS are an alternative to respite care services, providing additional assistance at times when the caregivers may be at work or school.
Nurses and/or attendants can care for your child at times when respite care is not allowed, as long as there is another caregiver present, such as a schoolteacher, grandparent, or even a nurse.
