I have been impacted by so many of my families in my time with Angels of Care. They are the driving force behind everything I do each day. I truly do not have a favorite, but I was most honored by the sweetest gesture from one of my families. My client’s family invited me to lunch with them and their nurse, and we ate at their son’s favorite restaurant. During lunch, they presented me and the nurse with handmade awards stating “Lucky to have you, with much love and appreciation, presented to you in recognition of dedicated service, caring and being there when needed. For knowing and always remembering what is most important: Family #1.” I look at this award every day on my desk and remind myself exactly why I’m here.”
