Angels of Care Receives $10,000 Advocacy Grant in Texas
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is proud to announce the receipt of a $10,000 grant from Superior HealthPlan to strengthen emergency preparedness for medically complex pediatric patients. This funding will allow us to assemble and distribute 252 customized “Go-Bags” containing essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for children insured by Superior HealthPlan across Texas.
At Angels of Care, our clients are the heart of everything we do, and these Go-Bags were thoughtfully developed with them in mind. We hope that this initiative empowers families caring for children with complex medical needs as they navigate life beyond the home. Each bag includes:
- A box of 150 gloves
- An 8 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer
- A box of 50 face masks
- A printed emergency preparedness guide for families
Packaged in a durable, Angels of Care-branded gym bag, these kits are designed for portability and practicality, making it easier for families to carry critical supplies—like ventilator equipment, medications, feeding supplies, and care documentation—wherever they go.
Through this project, we continue to stand alongside families of children with complex medical needs—championing their right to feel safe, supported, and prepared wherever life takes them. By providing essential resources, we’re helping to protect their health while advocating for the everyday support they deserve—at home, on the road, and throughout their communities.
We’re deeply grateful to Superior HealthPlan for their partnership and shared commitment to improving pediatric health outcomes across East Texas. Their investment helps us continue delivering the compassionate, high-quality care that defines Angels of Care, and moves us closer to our vision of being the best pediatric home health agency in the nation.
