Back to School: Important Info for Clinicians and Families
Please note that this message does not apply to residents of Pennsylvania.
As the 2025–2026 school year approaches, we want to ensure a smooth transition for our clients who receive care during the school day. If you are a clinician who will be accompanying a client to school, please note that you will need to be registered with the local Independent School District (ISD) before attending.
Every ISD has its own registration process, and timelines can vary—from a few days to as long as a month, with the average being about two weeks. This process is required annually for each clinician and each student. Currently, clinicians supporting clients in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas must complete this registration if school attendance is part of the care plan.
A new school setup is required for each clinician and each student every school year. If your child will need school support this upcoming year, please reach out to your Client Care Coordinator as soon as possible so we can begin making arrangements. If you are a clinician scheduled to provide school-based support, please connect with your branch team as soon as possible. You may be asked to assist in gathering or submitting required documentation to meet district requirements.
We are here to support you every step of the way. Our goal is to ensure each child continues receiving safe, compassionate care—at home, in the community, and in the classroom.
