Congratulations to North Carolina LPN, Faith, for being selected as one of our 2025 DAISY Honorees! Faith was nominated by her Clinical Care Manager.

“Just last week, [her client] experienced one of the scariest moments of his life when he began choking on his food and was unable to clear his airway. Without hesitation, Faith quickly assessed the situation and performed the Heimlich maneuver, successfully dislodging the obstruction and restoring [his] breathing. Her swift action and clinical expertise quite literally saved his life. [His] mother shared her deep gratitude, expressing how thankful she is for Faith—not only for her heroic response during this frightening incident, but also for the compassion, dedication, and consistent quality of care she provides to [her client] each and every day.  Her dedication goes far beyond meeting his medical needs.
