Calling All Angels | North Pole Family Wish List
A single mother in North Texas is raising four young daughters with the support of her twin sister. As a disabled Navy veteran, she works hard to create a stable and loving home for her girls, including her oldest daughter who has autism. With the holidays approaching, she hopes to give them a magical Christmas but needs a little help to make it happen, and the toy drive offers the joy and support her family deserves. Angels of Care has partnered with Especially Needed to fulfill their holiday wish list, and every gift you give reminds them that their community is standing beside them.
In North Texas, a devoted single mother is raising four sweet and lively girls who are eleven, nine, seven, and five. Their home is full of energy, imagination, and the loving presence of the mother’s twin sister, whose support has been a steady source of comfort through the years.
The mother is a proud disabled veteran who served in the United States Navy in San Diego, where she worked in legal services and cared deeply for those around her. After being honorably discharged in 2017 due to mental health struggles, she returned to North Texas determined to build a hopeful new beginning for her family. When her oldest daughter was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of three, the family surrounded her with patience, understanding, and unconditional love.
Despite her strength and dedication, providing for four growing girls as a single mother has its challenges, especially during the holiday season. She dreams of giving her daughters the magical Christmas they look forward to each year, but making that happen on her own is difficult.
This Christmas, the toy drive offers more than gifts. It brings the promise of joy, warmth, and a holiday morning these girls will remember. It also reminds this resilient family that their courage and love do not go unnoticed, and that a caring community is ready to help make their Christmas shine.
