Pennsylvania Clinical Care Manager Advocates for Client’s Education

When one of her clients needed to transfer to a new school better suited for his developmental needs, Tammy, a Clinical Care Manager in DuBois, stepped up to advocate every step of the way. The transition came with major obstacles — transportation, nurse continuity, and a school policy that did not allow outside nurses on campus. Working closely with her Angels of Care team, the districts, and the family, she made a strong case for what was best for the child. Thanks to her persistence and passion, the school agreed to allow the child’s long-time nurse to accompany him for full-day care, ensuring both educational access and continuity of care.
